During the 1920s in Shanghai, an all female Chinese Opera troupe is struggling. The troupe boss calls on Tsui to join them in the hope that her fighting sequences will pull the troupe out from imminent close-down. This enrages the actresses who are already quarreling among themselves. However, they come together when a Triad Boss Chang, goes after one of them.
