He is surprised when Mrs. Teasley congratulates him on getting his act together and offers to write him a letter of recommendation. David fears that he won't graduate because he misnumbered his chemistry final. Brenda is accepted to the University of Minnesota; Brandon tries to discourage her from leaving.
