Nine new bakers put their skills to the test in holiday-themed challenges on the third season of this Bobby Deen-hosted competition series. The challenges aim to bring the essence of Thanksgiving and Christmas to life through tasks centered around cookies, pies and other desserts. Inspiration for the tests comes from the likes of classic seasonal beverages and ugly holiday sweaters. Judges Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller and Lorraine Pascale determine which bakers miss the cut and go home each week, until the last three contestants make it to the season finale. At the end of the seven-week season, the winning baker takes home the $50,000 grand prize and bragging rights with the title of Holiday Baking Champion.
