Despite Pàdruig's return to Camus, Sarah Jane is determined to put the past behind her. However, this is challenged when he visits the house with Cailean. This forces her to reveal to Màiri the real reason she's kept this dark secret to herself for so long.
Donneil also resents Pàdruig's return to the island, but a parting gift from Nebhada puts a smile back on his face and enables the Trust to finally buy the land. With their debts paid, Donna and Finlay are hopeful that their financial problems are over, but it transpires that they've only just begun.
