Abigail reaches out to Chad, anxious to know how his hypnotherapy session with Marlena went. Chad informs her he didn't remember anything useful from his blackouts. She tries to encourage him, and it leads to a close moment - which Ben walks in on. He explodes with anger, reminding Abigail she promised to stay away from Chad. He tells her if she wants to be around a killer, that's her choice. He vows he's done and storms off. Abigail heads off to catch up with Ben, while Chad meets with Marlena for another session. He vaguely recalls a struggle, but can't piece together any of the details. He fears it's a memory of struggling with his victims. Chad, walking home, suddenly recalls more of the memories that have eluded him and does an about face, racing back to the hospital to tell Marlena. At that moment, a masked figure enters Marlena's office and attacks her! Will Chad get there in time?
Rafe gets a shock when Eve tells him he has another reason to want to solve Paige's murder: she was his half-sister. Rafe reels as he learns Eve's ex-husband is his father, Eduardo. While Rafe processes all this, Eduardo spots Gabi with Arianna in the park, and he strikes up a conversation with Gabi, never revealing his identity. After finishing with Eve, Rafe comes upon Eduardo and gets him alone, furious. Eduardo just wants a second chance to get to know his family, but Rafe makes it clear that's not going to happen.
Nicole has learned Kate is Theresa's "silent partner" and lays into her, vowing she will find a way to keep Kate out of Basic Black. Nicole storms off, ready to let Theresa have it for misleading her. Later, Eduardo wanders into the bar and shares a look of mutual attraction with Kate.
