Zhao Qiao Yi and Yan Mo shared a desk in high school. One is failing while the other excels in just about everything. The two polar opposites with very different life goals make a pact to study abroad together. Qiao Yi wasn't able to hold up her end of the bargain due to family issues and loses touch with Yan Mo after graduation. Four years later, during a school reunion, they meet again.

Deciding to be true to her feelings, Zhao Qiao Yi moves to the same city where Yan Mo works, yet she discovers that he already has someone else. Yan Mo may be good at many things, but he does not know how to express his feelings well. When it comes to Zhao Qiao Yi, he goes above and beyond to do things for her that only he knows about.
