David Tutera's CELEBrations - Season 2 - Episode 7 - Jamie, "Mummer Bride"
A "Mummer Parade" is a colorful, costumed celebration that occurs every New Year's Day in Philadelphia. It also happens to be the theme of bride Jamie Ferris' wedding. Once David accepts Jamie's outlandish taste in feathers and fanfare, he disposes of her bouquets and centerpieces, as well as the hall adjacent to the firehouse where Jamie is planning to hold her reception. David allows Jamie to keep her dress for the ceremony, but insists on new reception dresses for her and her bridesmaids. Next, David and Jamie take a trip to the Audrey Lounge, where they unwind with exotic drinks and try to decide on a signature wedding cocktail. After that, the two attend a formal food tasting, and David informs Jamie that her venue has been moved to an awe-inspiring location. Finally, a live performance featuring a band of Mummers brings some very appropriate wedding-day cheer.
