Tony Knox directed this 1987 episode of The South Bank Show about The Smiths. Consisting mainly of interviews with Morrissey and Marr along with other participants like John Peel, Sandi Shaw, Viv Nicholson, Linder Sterling and Nick Kent. It also includes archive and concert footage.
The bulk of the film was clearly made just prior to the band splitting with the last ten minutes, made just after the split, consisting mainly of Morrissey in dejected mode talking about THE END OF POP MUSIC!!! (i.e. the end of The Smiths).
