Segments include the story of Juana Maria, who survived on San Nicolas Island, alone, for 18 years; the family of William Wrigley Jr. keeps his vision for Santa Catalina Island alive; and Chumash paddlers make an annual voyage to Santa Cruz Island in the dead of night.
