Years before Zack Snyder began sculpting the DC Extended Universe with Man of Steel and Batman V Superman, he made a name for himself with a Dawn of the Dead remake- but really hit the mainstream with his intensely stylistic Frank Miller graphic novel adaptation 300.
300 is a very cool-looking movie, but definitely raises a lot of questions. Like what’s up with that giant hole? If it’s the city’s well, why did King Leonidas just murder a bunch of people in the drinking water? Why are the Spartans obsessed about not kneeling, when they all kneel to Leonidas, who kneels to some guys with weird skin? Could Leonidas really have not found ANY use for Ephialtes even though he couldn’t raise his shield? Why did Dilios decide to tell the troops about a musical goat? How many ABS are in this movie?
